*PLEASE READ IMPORTANT INFO REGAURDING YOUR POOL AND BILL*
Mike’s Pool Service has some new terms of service due to the COVID-19 Virus. We are going to take this very seriously as everyone in the industry has advised us too.
As many of you know California is now on a “Stay at home” order from our governor as of 3/19/20 for non-essential businesses to close. Thankfully, the Pool industry is an essential business and we will continue to provide the best service possible. It is VERY important to keep the water chemistry balanced to ensure the health and safety of your family.
Letting a pool turn green will not only put your family’s health at risk but also those that live near you. It can cause a breeding ground of larva, tadpoles, and mosquitoes.
116065. Every person who violates any provision of this article, building standards published in the State Building Standards Code relating to swimming pools, or the rules and regulations adopted pursuant to the provisions of this article, is guilty of a misdemeanor, punishable by a fine of not less than fifty dollars ($50) nor more than one thousand dollars ($1,000), or by imprisonment for not more than six months, or both.
(Added by Stats. 1995, Ch. 415, Sec. 6. Effective January 1, 1996.)
I have ordered all three employees to stay home to prevent the spread of the pandemic and situation. I will be taking on each account as a chemical and basket empting only service. This means that your steps, walls, and tile will not get brushed weekly.
Your service rate will be lowered by 35% to help with the current situation. I know some of you will fall on hard times and we want to invite you to communicate with me directly if financial struggles asise in your family. I will gladly work with each customer on a case by case basis. If your service rate is $110 for example your new bill after 03/19/20 will now be $71.50. My hope is that this break on the bill will help you and your family with other essential goods and services that you may need.
Service days are subject to change due to the lack of our labor force, please bear with me during this time. I wish you and your family the best, let’s all help each other in this current situation because we are all in this together.
